Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MLPipes LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") regarding your use of the myCARI mobile application (the "App").
By downloading, installing, or using myCARI, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service
myCARI is a personal health management application that provides:
- Health and vital sign tracking
- Medication management and reminders
- Medical appointment scheduling
- Integration with Apple HealthKit
- Healthcare provider integration (Epic MyChart, Cerner, etc. via FHIR)
- Care team collaboration features
- AI-powered health insights and daily coaching
- AI Meal Tracker (photo-based nutrition logging)
- Secure messaging between care team members (individual and group)
Eligibility
To use myCARI, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable laws
If you are using myCARI on behalf of someone else (as a caregiver), you represent that you have proper authorization to do so.
Account Registration
Creating an Account
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
Account Security
- Use strong, unique passwords
- Enable biometric authentication when available
- Do not share your account credentials with others
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
Subscription and Payments
Free Trial
All new users receive a 30-day free trial with full access to premium features.
- No credit card required to start your trial
- Full access to all premium features during trial
- Trial begins when you create your account
- At the end of 30 days, you will be downgraded to the Free Tier unless you subscribe
- You will receive reminders before your trial ends (Day 7, Day 21, Day 27)

Care Team Access
Care team members invited by a Premium subscriber have free access to view and collaborate on the subscriber's health data:
- Care team members do not need their own subscription
- Access is subject to permissions granted by the primary subscriber
- Care team members must accept the Care Team Member Agreement
- A care team member can be on unlimited care teams (ideal for professional caregivers)
- Care team members can optionally upgrade to their own Premium subscription for personal health tracking
Billing
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis
- Payment is processed through Apple's App Store
- Prices may change with 30 days notice
- Price changes do not affect current subscription period
Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds for partial periods
- Upon cancellation, you will be downgraded to the Free Tier
- Your data is retained and accessible within Free Tier limits
User Conduct
Acceptable Use
You agree to use myCARI only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code
- Harvest or collect user information without consent
- Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
- Use the App for commercial purposes without authorization
Care Team Conduct
When participating in care teams:
- Respect the privacy of primary users
- Only access health information for legitimate caregiving purposes
- Do not share health information with unauthorized parties
- Report any security concerns immediately

Not Medical Advice
IMPORTANT: myCARI is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- The App provides health tracking and information tools only
- Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions
- Never disregard professional medical advice based on App information
- Seek immediate medical attention for emergencies
AI-Generated Insights
- AI health insights are for informational purposes only
- AI recommendations are not medical diagnoses
- AI analysis may contain errors or inaccuracies
- Always verify AI suggestions with healthcare professionals
AI Meal Tracker
- Meal photo analysis provides estimates, not exact nutritional values
- AI may misidentify foods or portion sizes
- Nutritional calculations are approximations based on visual analysis
- You should verify critical dietary information with nutrition labels or professionals
- Meal photos are processed securely and not shared with third parties for marketing
- You retain ownership of photos you upload
Data Accuracy
- You are responsible for the accuracy of manually entered health data
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of HealthKit data synchronization
- Medication reminders are aids, not guarantees of adherence
Emergency Services
Emergency Features
myCARI includes optional emergency features such as:
- SOS alerts to care team members
- Fall detection notifications
- Emergency contact information
Limitations
- These features are not replacements for emergency services (911)
- We do not guarantee delivery of emergency notifications
- Always contact emergency services directly in life-threatening situations
- Features depend on device connectivity and functionality
Care Team Features
Primary User Rights
As a primary user (account holder), you:
- Control all access to your health data
- Can invite and remove care team members
- Set permission levels for each care team member
- Can revoke access at any time
- Can create group chats with your care team members
- Are the administrator of any group chats you create
Care Team Member Requirements
Before accessing a primary user's health data, care team members must:
- Accept the Care Team Member Agreement
- Acknowledge their HIPAA-related responsibilities
- Agree to confidentiality requirements
- Understand that their access is logged for compliance
Care Team Member Responsibilities
As a care team member, you:
- May only access data for legitimate caregiving purposes
- Must respect privacy settings established by the primary user
- Cannot share health information without authorization
- Must maintain confidentiality of all health information
- Understand that your access to PHI is logged and auditable
Messaging
Individual and Group Messages
- Messages between care team members are stored securely
- Primary users can create group chats with their care team
- Only the primary user (patient) can create or administer group chats
- Group administrators can add/remove members and rename groups
Message Retention and Deletion
- You can delete messages from your view
- You can "unsend" messages you sent (removes from all views)
- Important: For HIPAA compliance, original message content is retained in secure audit logs even after deletion
- Message audit logs are retained for a minimum of 6 years
- We may monitor messages for safety, abuse, and compliance purposes
Prohibited Content
Inappropriate messages may result in account termination, including:
- Harassment or abusive content
- Spam or commercial solicitation
- Content unrelated to health or caregiving
- Sharing of PHI with unauthorized parties
Intellectual Property
Our Property
myCARI and all content, features, and functionality are owned by MLPipes LLC and are protected by:
- Copyright laws
- Trademark laws
- Patent laws
- Trade secret laws
Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Your Content
You retain ownership of health data and content you provide. By using the App, you grant us a license to use, process, and store your data as necessary to provide the service.
Feedback
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide may be used by us without compensation or attribution.
Third-Party Services
Integrations
myCARI integrates with third-party services including:
- Apple HealthKit
- Firebase (Google)
- Healthcare provider systems (FHIR)
Third-Party Terms
Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
No Endorsement
Integration with third-party services does not constitute endorsement by us or them.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Disclaimers
"AS IS" Basis
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF HEALTH DATA
No Guarantee
We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Defects will be corrected
- The App is free of viruses or harmful components
- Results from the App will be accurate or reliable
Limitation of Liability
Exclusion of Damages
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MLPIPES LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
- Personal injury or property damage
- Any damages arising from:
- Your use or inability to use the App
- Unauthorized access to your data
- Errors or omissions in health information
- Third-party conduct or content
Liability Cap
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
- The amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or
- $100 USD
Essential Purpose
These limitations apply even if remedies fail their essential purpose.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MLPipes LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Your health data or content
Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue the App at any time
- Change features, functionality, or pricing
- Impose limits on certain features
We will provide reasonable notice of material changes when possible.
Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via:
- In-app notification
- Email to your registered address
Termination
By You
You may terminate your account at any time by:
- Deleting your account in the App
- Contacting us at support@carihealth.ai
By Us
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Fail to pay subscription fees
- Create risk or legal exposure for us
Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the App ceases immediately
- We may delete your data (subject to legal requirements)
- Provisions that should survive termination will survive
Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at support@carihealth.ai to attempt informal resolution.
Arbitration Agreement
Any disputes not resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except:
- Small claims court actions
- Injunctive relief for intellectual property violations
Class Action Waiver
YOU AGREE TO RESOLVE DISPUTES ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS ACTIONS.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
Assignment
You may not assign these Terms. We may assign our rights without restriction.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Notices
We may provide notices via:
- In-app notifications
- Email to your registered address
- Posting on our website
Apple-Specific Terms
For iOS App users:
- These Terms are between you and MLPipes LLC, not Apple
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support
- Apple is not responsible for addressing claims related to the App
- Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms
