  • NOT a medical record system and should not be relied upon as your sole source of health information

⚠️ CRITICAL: SOS Feature Does NOT Call 911

The SOS feature in myCARI sends push notifications to your designated emergency contacts ONLY. Emergency contacts must be members of your care team who have myCARI installed.

The SOS feature:

  • ❌ Does NOT contact 911 or emergency services
  • ❌ Does NOT contact hospitals, ambulances, police, or fire departments
  • ❌ Does NOT guarantee notification delivery
  • ❌ Does NOT have professional monitoring staff

FOR LIFE-THREATENING EMERGENCIES, ALWAYS CALL 911 DIRECTLY.

Do not rely solely on myCARI's SOS feature for emergency response.

  • Provide communication tools between you and your care team
  • Do NOT monitor, respond to, or verify SOS alerts
  • Do NOT employ, train, supervise, or verify care team members
  • Do NOT provide medical advice or emergency services
  • Are NOT responsible for care team member response or conduct
